Parsnip Puree Recipe – Amazing and Simple

Ingredients
- 4 large parsnips peeled and chopped into small pieces
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Start by preparing the 4 large parsnips. Peel and chop them into small, even sized pieces. This will help ensure even cooking.
- Place the parsnips in a large pot and cover with cold water. Add a pinch of salt to the water. Add a lid to the pot.
- Bring the water to a boil over high heat.
- Once boiling, reduce heat to medium and simmer the parsnips for 15-20 minutes until they are tender.
