How to Make Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breast

This recipe is designed to be quick and easy to make. Like most, I’m often tired after work and want a good and quick meal. This recipe is designed for just that case! Here are the 4 simple steps to making Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breast at home.

  1. Preparation: Prepare the chicken by seasoning it with salt, pepper, and herbs. This chicken recipe is a Mediterranean inspired dish, so I recommend using herbs like basil, thyme, oregano, and sage.
  2. Stuffing: Mix together fresh spinach, mozzarella, garlic, and nutmeg. Stuff this mixture into the chicken breast.
  3. Sear:While the chicken will cook in the oven, briefly pan searing before cooking in the oven will give the chicken a nice crisp texture and a great taste.
  4. Cooking: After pan searing, transfer the chicken breasts to the oven to bake until the chicken is fully cooked.

Tools to Make Stuffed Chicken Breasts at Home

Making Stuffed Chicken at home is fun and easy. Our recipe doesn’t require any highly specialized tools to cook. However, you will need the following:

  • Skillet: A high quality skillet is needed to pan sear the chicken breasts before cooking. Alternatively, you can also do this on the grill!
  • Baking Dish: After pan searing, the breasts continue cooking in the oven. I recommend cooking in a baking dish.
