Mozzarella and Spinach Stuffed Chicken
Ingredients
- 4 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
- 2 cups spinach fresh, chopped
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- salt
- Pepper
- Olive oil for cooking
- 1 tbsp dried basil
- 1 tbsp sage
- 1 tbsp thyme
- 1 tbsp Dried Oregano
- 1 pinch nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375℉/190℃
- In a small bowl combine 1 tbsp dried basil, 1 tbsp sage, 1 tbsp thyme, and 1 tbsp Dried Oregano. Add salt and Pepper.
- Season both sides of 4 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts with the spice mixture.
- In a separate bowl, combine 2 cups spinach, 1 cup mozzarella cheese, 2 cloves Garlic, and 1 pinch nutmeg. Stuff this mixture into each chicken breast
- In a skillet, heat Olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and sear on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165℉.
- Let rest for 2-3 minutes before serving.
