Introduction: Pomegranate Chicken Recipe
This Pomegranate Chicken recipe is a great meal to make on busy weeknights in the fall. Pomegranate Chicken is a warm, rich, and hearty dish perfect for fall and winter nights. The seasonal dish combines the tanginess of pomegranates with the hearty taste of chicken. When served with roasted root vegetables, this chicken recipe creates a very filling meal!
How to Select the Best Pomegranates
Selecting high-quality produce can completely transform this dish. I recommend getting whole pomegranates from the grocery store to use as garnish and to create fresh pomegranate juice. While this does require a bit more prep work, using whole pomegranates can completely elevate this dish.
How To Tell If a Pomegranate Is Ripe
When shopping, look for pomegranates that are heavy for their size with a deep, vibrant red color. Look for pomegranates that feel firm, indicating that the arils are juicy!
